IMDB rating: 4.90 Plot: Winter, 1988: Harrisburg PA’s celebrity weatherman, Russ Richards, is broke: he’s borrowed heavily to open a snowmobile dealership, and it’s still unseasonably warm. Gig, his seedy pal, advises him to run an insurance scam; when it goes awry, Russ is out another $10,000 and in trouble with Dale, a bat-wielding thug. Gig convinces Russ to rig the state lottery with the help of Crystal, a gold-digging ditz with a heart of tin. They have to find a beard to buy the ticket, and then they have to cash it. Soon, murder and various double-crosses add to Russ’s nightmare. A lazy cop zeroes in. Jail is closer than riches. Will Russ have to choose between his money and his life? |

I like her, but does she like me?
Ok im a little confused… its a long story. Im a 14 year old guy, and I live in sydney. Well anyway im a little bit shy around girls, and a few months ago this girl said hi to me randomly and we had a little conversation… from then on we’ve bumped into each other at all unlikely occasions. For example im a good sprinter, and during a PE lesson she was cheering me on (we were doing sprint races). From the first conversation we had she seemed to like me, but I didn’t know whether she was just being nice or not. I began to like her and one of my friends gave me her MSN and since then we have been good friends. Another unlikely time we bumped into each other was church- we had a whole school assembly in the church, and out of 800 kids, I was lucky enough to sit next to her. Then in PE, we had our first lesson on dancing and when we had to get girl partners I got her as a partner and it was lots of fun. Then for a PE assignment, we had to get into groups and perform a dance to the class. I got into her dance group, and we instantly joined up as partners for the performance. We talk on MSN almost every day, and in class we talk alot more too.
Well the other day me and 3 other friends were hanging out at a friends house, and one of those friends was the guy who gave me her MSN. He was telling me to ask her phone number because he thought she liked me- and he knew I liked her. He said it was easy and he’d ask it too. He got her number easily, and ive got a feeling she likes him, not me. I told him this and he said that she definitely likes me, but im still unsure… she still seems to like me, and yet she talks to him alot too. But he is the type of guy who chats up alot of girls, and he even admitted that he has heaps of girls numbers and he was sure she is just a friend, and she really likes me.
He told me I should ask her out, and she would definitely say yes to me, but im not sure. If she likes him or some other guy, would she go out with me? I just hope she doesn’t like him or anyone else, because all this time we’ve talked we’ve been becoming better and better friends, and ive gotten closer and closer to asking her out, and I dont want it all to be ruined by some other dude asking her out and me losing my chance. Ive been thinking, even if she does like someone else, should I ignore that and continue being a good friend and try to ask her out? Girls like confident, determined guys, and im not going to just let some other guy ask her out if I like her. "Seize what is yours, you only live once." Should I still try and ask her out?
Maybe she’s just being friendly. Why do you lot always think it’s more this thing happened to me, I knew she didn’t like me as a Boyfriend but as a FRIEND, get over it.

yeah im a girl and if i was u id just ask her out but not in front of alot of people where she might say no, maybe on msn or somthing just ask her if she wants 2 go out with u, then u’ll no for sure if she likes u or not. yeah coz if u never ask her, she will probably not ask u out coz girls wait 4 guys 2 do that. sorry if this is not useful, but its up 2 u and make sure that its not too soon. gd luck
